Demon's Revenge

What has been going on with CTDR

Hey guys, this update is really late but we have been working really hard on the game and a lot of big things have been going on for and around the game.

One of the big things we have been doing is submitting our project to IndieCade and for the Indie Mega Booth at PAX Prime. We have been going over hundreds of pages of bug fixes and game play elements to get the game ready for those two events and we really hope our project gets selected for both.

That being said, it is ready for our backers to give it a swing. We are going to prepare a section in the forum really soon for you all to give your feedback and let us know how we are doing. This has not really been tackled yet as we have had all our energy and focused on the game.

Everything is coming out quite nicely. This particular part of the game has expanded and is a bit larger than we had initially decided to do after our last campaign. I believe one of the biggest reasons for this is that we want it to be a full experience and reach our predetermined game play time of 14 hours (without padding) or in the very least come very close. Many places have been added or modified to help the story feel much more organic. One such place bridges Sen’s introduction with the over arching story of the game. That place is called the Cavernas De Muerte and you can experience that in the beta.

We are considering adding one more additional area to add just a little more variety in the places you visit. This particular chapter of the game is really made to introduce some important characters and set the stage for the much bigger stakes going forward.

We’ve had lots of production since our last update in the form of music. Mark has done an exceptional job and we wanted to give you guys a listen to some of the great work he has produced over the past month. (If you’ve been following his facebook page, you’ve probably heard them!)

Thanks everyone for your patience and we are a little disappointed in ourselves with the lack of updates, but you can believe that we are making a great game for you to enjoy.

I will work on that section of the forum today and I will write another small update and send out a message to the beta testers.

Thanks again
